SBS Model 1/72 Jeep R6H Q.E.D. Resin Kit
R6H is the last aircraft of the Granville brothers who made sports aircraft in Massachusetts, USA.
The first flight in 1934, the R6H participated in the Bendix Air Race of the same year, but it fell out due to cowling trouble.
The Macro Bertson Air Race between London and Melbourne in 1934, Jaklean Cochran, known as the pilot, challenged the R6H, and it was also shed out due to fuselage issues.
This machine also challenged the 1935 Bendix Air Race, the 1936 Tompton Trophy Air Race, and the 1938 Bendix Air Race, but every race was designed to fall off in the engine trouble, making it unlucky airplane.
After that, R6H was sold in 1939, the Mexican pilot Francisco Salavia.
We left a new record of 10 hours and 47 minutes between Mexico City and New York, but the pilot died after a return flight crash into the river in the engine trouble.
Later, the R6H was restored, and is now displayed in a museum built in his hometown of Mr Salavia.
Named Q.E.D. is derived from the Latin quod erat demonstrandum = "above should be proven.
