- THE NEW MATERIAL - We have significantly improved the fabric quality of our tents. From now on, we use 40D High Tenacity Polyester with Double Ripstop throughout all our tents. This fabric has a higher tensile strength than regular polyester yarns. Accordingly, our new tent fabric has a higher tear strength. In addition, it is lighter, falls better, rustles less and is softer to the touch.
- SPACE - Thanks to the new structure, the Kirra not only offers a spacious inner tent, but also an awning with plenty of room for your equipment. Several sewn-in pockets inside the tent also offer space for smaller and larger items. A removable compartment under the roof provides additional STORAGE ROOM and your torch can be placed inside for diffused light.
- MORE SPACE, LESS WEIGHT - Thanks to a new version of our Inflatable Diamond Grid (IDG), we were able to use the struts of the airframe more efficiently. This results in a stable tent with less weight. With a footprint of 5.2 m² (inner tent 4.2 m²), Kirra weighs only 3.8 kg.
- OPTIMAL VENTILATION - The Kirra tent has several ventilation options for efficient air circulation inside the tent. The Flysheet, which normally reaches the ground, can be adjusted in height using elastic hooks. In combination with additional closable upper vents, the chimney effect can be used to maximise air circulation. The ventilation can thus be optimally adapted to many situations.
- MULTI-CHAMBER SAFETY SYSTEM - Individual chambers provide emergency stability in the event of a failure and allow easy repair or replacement of parts of the inflatable diamond mesh (IDG).
